At the September all staff meeting, UF Health Florida Recovery Center Executive Director, Roxane Harcourt, L.M.F.T., honored several people for their incredible work during Hurricane Irma. Several staff members and physicians worked around the clock to keep FRC patients safe and comfortable.
“They stepped up and took their responsibility and obligation very seriously by putting the patient first,” Harcourt said.
Harcourt passed out shining star awards to Lisa Colyer, L.M.F.T., and William Greene, M.D., for their work in supporting the recent research initiatives that are underway at FRC. Lori McGruder, MEd/EdS, L.M.H.C., N.C.C., Jamie Smolen, M.D. and Benjamin Phalin, Ph.D., were recognized for their excellent work in treating a patient with a very complicated case history.
