
Scott Teitelbaum, MD, DFASAM, was recognized by the American Society of Addiction Medicine on Friday. Teitelbaum, medical director of the UF Health Florida Recovery Center and chief of the division of addiction medicine, was named the 2024 ASAM Training Directors Award.
The award recognizes and honors an individual who has demonstrated outstanding training in the evaluation, treatment, research and teaching of substance use disorders.
Teitelbaum will be presented with the award during the ASAM 55th Annual Conference in Dallas on Saturday, April 6. The event will be held from April 4-7.
