Giving Back

UF Health Florida Recovery Center is committed to serving those struggling with addiction. Addiction – a disease that is both treatable and preventable – lays waste to countless individuals, families and communities each year. Since its inception, the Florida Recovery Center has empowered thousands of patients and family members to battle this disease and reclaim their lives.

At UF Health, our mission is to deliver the highest-quality care, educate the next generation of addiction medicine leaders and conduct the latest breakthrough research. As part of UF Health, the leading academic medical center in the Southeast, the Florida Recovery Center has an extraordinary concentration of expertise in addiction medicine. Our faculty are among the nation’s best in understanding and treating addiction and fostering new discoveries that lead to better therapeutic resources for those affected by this disease. While external funding from agencies like the National Institutes of Health or the National Institute for Drug Abuse help advance our research, our work to restore hope and save lives is also greatly enhanced through private philanthropy.

Gifts to the FRC can take many forms. After successfully graduating from our recovery program, many alumni return to volunteer and offer hope to those striving to experience life without addiction. Clinical addiction specialists and alumni – each familiar in their own way with FRC’s top-ranking reputation – form a vast referral network. Financial contributions from donors help create opportunities for research, clinical growth and operational enhancements that build UF Health’s reputation as a top treatment facility in the U.S. Whether giving the gift of time, a referral or financial support, we are deeply grateful to all our donors.

Please join us in our battle against addiction. We are honored to partner with you in creating a force for change and hope.
