Visitation

UF Health Psychiatric Hospital Inpatient Visitation

Whenever possible, we strongly encourage the participation of family members in treatment. Family members and significant others are important in the recovery process. The illness of addiction has a considerable impact on these relationships. The treatment program is an intense experience and the focus is recovery. We encourage family members and significant others who actively support recovery to be involved in the program.

The group activities require significant participation by the patients and the adult and adolescent family members and friends. This limits their ability to tend to the needs of smaller children. Currently, Vista is unable to provide babysitting services during family visitation.
